A routine service needed by many businesses. With G-Tech Services LLC., we can perform demarc extensions nationwide at multiple jobs locations across the country or at a single location of your choice.
When a customer purchases a new dedicated-circuit T1 line, the vendor will provide a start date on which the circuit goes live. Test signals are then sent to ensure proper communication. We will work with the vendor from our client site to make sure their new circuit is working properly.
Prior to commencing any cabling project, understanding the variables and estimating effort can help you budget and understand the time frame for the project. We will assist you in identifying the issues surrounding your installation including any special tools or equipment that will be needed for your project.
A demarc extension is the process of connecting your network to a data line such as a T1, DSL, or POTS–provided by the telephone company. The “demarcation point” (or “demarc” for short) is the location where the vendor terminates their circuit. Beyond this point it is your responsibility to connect your network to that demarcation point. The demarc cabling must be extended to reach a wiring closet or some sort of data distribution system in order to integrate with your network. Depending on your needs and the layout of the site, services for a circuit extension can vary greatly. We at G-Tech Services LLC. have experience performing demarc extensions in various environments such as offices, retail businesses, schools, restaurants, shopping malls, high-rise buildings and warehouses.
